Focus on Giving

Let’s focus on giving, not taking. The best way to get is to become absolutely focused on giving. Giving what? Well giving anything that helps or pleases others, money, gifts, love, smile, a pat, your attention, your trust. When you give, you are initiating the cycle that terminates with your getting it back in equally pleasant ways. Just like the mountains present the seas fresh water through the flowing rivers, the seas return the mountains distilled water through the blowing air currents. When you give, you are letting the dynamism of the Universe to flow through you and letting you experience the joy of abundance.. When on the contrary, you stop giving, you stagnate and let yourself be afflicted by the curse of scarcity. Yet most people can’t stop thinking about, ‘What is there in it for me?’ ‘How shall I benefit?’ ‘What will be my salary?’ Because we are focused on ourselves, our doors are closed to protect our offering from reaching the Universe. These are the same doors however, which also stop the abundance that’s waiting to be unleashed on us by the Universe. That is why many people because they are keen to get something before they have given something, go nowhere in their lives. If we just concentrate on the people around us and give them time, love, knowledge, respect and our services, there is a high probability that we would be successful, happy and rich beyond our imagination. But remember, we must give first. Write this word into your minds and hearts: give. Give. GIVE. If you are a student, freely share your notes with your friends: some of them at least will share theirs with you and all of you would do better than you otherwise might have done. If you are a professional, ask what you can do beyond the normal requirements of your job that would help the company. If you are a husband or a wife, think how you can give the gift of undivided attention to your spouse. And then watch how faithful the Universe is to the principle.
